Ingressive LLC Launches Non- Profit Arm To Create 5000 Jobs And Train One Million Youths
Ingressive LLC, a holding company which runs Ingressive Advisory and Ingressive Capital, launched a non-profit arm, Ingressive For Good(I4G). Ingressive Advisory provides market research services for global businesses and investment groups while Ingressive Capital is an African-focused venture capital firm which recently doubled the size of its fund to $10M
Ingressive For Good aims to help the participants with micro-scholarships, technical training, talent placement, and also provide other resources to empower them.
“We believe it is our responsibility to empower, inspire, educate, and connect the next generation of African tech talents to opportunities”, says Blessing Abeng, Director of Communications, Ingressive.
Africa has the youngest population in the world. According to the United Nations, the continent’s youth population (aged 15-24) is expected to be more than double the 2015 total of 226 million by 2055. Major economies boost with an exponential growth in the youth population, however, the African system is known for its hostile factors such as poverty and unemployment which hinder the youth contributions.
Ingressive For Good aims to create 5,000 jobs through partnerships and training, connect 1,000,000 African youth to technical skills training and award partial scholarships to qualified individuals studying computer science courses in line with their overarching mission to leverage need-based resources, learning, and the power of work to empower African youths in tech.
